Overview
Bruton is a modular sofa bringing a softer design language to our contract collections. A gentle, organic profile contrasted by crisp, clean lines creates a flexible, highly adaptable furniture system. Designed for comfort without sacrificing on sustainability, Bruton’s upholstery and filling are made from consciously selected natural materials, including wool, coconut coir, springs and feather, which meet contract fire standards.
Celebrating nature, beauty and functionality, Bruton brings tailored comfort and a more domestic approach to contract design, with a collection including a modular sofa system featuring a single and two-seater modules, an inline coffee table and ottomans, a stand-alone chaise long (with both left and right reclining options) and a two-seater sofa.
SmithMatthias
SmithMatthias is an award-winning design studio founded by Jack Smith and Gemma Matthias. The multi-disciplinary studio applies a rigour and thoughtfulness to create soulful and impactful work. The studio is based in a former hat factory in Liverpool’s Fabric District. Driven by the challenge to leave a positive footprint, SmithMatthias’ philosophy takes an exploratory and reductive approach to product design by stripping a concept down to its barest essentials whilst considering all aspects of form and function and introducing richness through material and craft. Their creative partnership thrives on problem solving to reimagine products with intelligence, innovation and attention to detail.

Our products are made in the UK, carefully crafted at our factory in Hampshire. Having control over the entire design and manufacturing process allows us to offer consistent quality, accurate lead time as well as a bespoke service. We ensure all our timber is PEFC/FSC certified and offer Beech, Oak, Ash and Walnut plus a variety of finishes. Add this to ‘My Quote’ to find out more or enquire about a bespoke requirement.
