Katerina Zachariades
Creative Director
Katerina grew up in Greece and came to London to study Architecture where she completed a BSc Degree at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College. She then specialised in furniture design, completing an MA at the Royal College of Art in 1988.
Katerina has always been attracted by the challenge of designing furniture for production, which led to becoming Morgan's Design Director in 1992. During the last 25 years, she has been responsible for the brand and product development at Morgan with both the Morgan studio team and external design collaborations.
Paul Jones
Managing Director
Paul has a First Class Hons degree in Furniture Production Management BSc Hons, from Buckinghamshire University. Paul Jones is a commercially orientated Managing Director with over twenty years' industrial experience. Awarded Top 100 by The Manufacturer and recognised as one of the top 20 Exemplar’s by the judging panel, 2019.
He got his start in the world of manufacturing when he accepted an industrial placement programme at Morgan, in 1999. Fuelling a passion for manufacturing, Paul was encouraged to devise lean manufacturing processes that Morgan continue to implement and develop to this day. Paul spent 11 years as Morgan’s Production Manager driving adoption of his award-winning Lean and Continuous Improvement Programme and passion for Sustainability, leading Morgan’s ISO14001 implementation. Paul went on to work as a consultant in enterprise excellence to a range of sectors - most notably as a Lean Six Sigma senior advisor within the government-backed Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS).
Returning to Morgan, in early 2019 as the company General Manager, and then to become Managing Director in 2021.
Rodney McMahon
Chairman
Rodney has a degree in Economics from Exeter University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. His passion for manufacturing in the UK and his interest in interior design, led to the acquisition of Morgan in 1992.
Rodney revitalised the company in the last 30 years from a company of 8 employees to one totaling 80, manufacturing in the UK, with a major position as a leader in the contract furniture market.
Rodney is Finance Director and past Chairman of the BCFA, sits on the Council of the Furniture Industry Research Association and of the Advisory Council of Anti Copying in Design and is Chairman of the Design Guild Mark. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Chairman of the Trustees of the Edward Barnsley Educational Trust, a centre of excellence for training cabinetmakers.
